Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing well (: Today’s post has some different kinds of foods as for I got my wisdom teeth out on Friday, so my food choices this weekend have been a bit limited. Unfortunately, my pain killers upset my stomach so that made eating even harder for me.
I bought some protein powder from the grocery store before my surgery because my protein choices were extremely limited. This was my first time trying the Simple Truth Whey, and I love it! Mixed with a cup of soy milk, it creates a really thick milk-shake like texture.
This was eaten Tuesday once my mouth was a little more healed. I have been missing my fresh fruits and veggies! This was my first sweet potato since starting recovery and while I enjoyed it, I definitely appreciated the butter and cheese on top! PS: aren’t those the prettiest berries ever?!?
I hadn’t tried this brand before, but I wanted to pick up some more calorie-dense yogurts for post surgery. Adding in some strawberry mush gave the vanilla a great flavor and a little bit more of a unique texture.
For some reason, I was having the biggest mac n cheese cravings ever! So my sweet dad drove to Noodles & Company and got me their Wisconsin Mac n Cheese. I went a couple of days with no vegetables, so the mushrooms were a great addition!
